Sammie Leigh is an experienced makeup artist of five years and is based in Mosman, NSW. Beginning as a self-taught MUA, Sammie learnt her base skills from hours of Youtube, hoping to perfect her own makeup routine and stay on trend of the newest/upcoming makeup tricks. This lead to opportunities of makeup jobs for formal‘s and short films which ultimately enabled Sammie to secure a job as a Colour Specialist with one of the biggest Beauty Retail Stores, Mecca. From there, Sammie has been a Colour specialist for over 6 years, working with all clientele and ranging makeup briefs including 70’s Glam, natural skin, red carpet vibes and on. Mecca has given Sammie the opportunity to be trained even further by each stocked brand‘s global trainer, including an masterclass with Francois Nars, allowing her to be taught a wide range of techniques. Sammie has had the opportunity to work at Australian Fashion Week 2021 and also worked on various shoots. She has also attended masterclasses by Kayla Perez and Kellsie Bain. 

’Sammie Leigh Artistry’ was created in February of 2021 as a way for Sammie’s passion to further be explored. Sammie’s main goal is to bring a service to people where they can feel safe, and be painted into their most comfortable glamorous selves.
